You Can’t Pour From an Empty Cup

“Steph,” she said, “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

I felt like someone punched the air right out of me.

It was on a call last year with my wonderful coach Allegra.

She sketched out a teacup with nothing in it, and held it up to the webcam for me to see.

It was exactly how I felt.

See, I’d been struggling to set boundaries with my technology use and work schedule…

…and it was draining me emotionally and physically.

I felt so much frickin’ pressure to keep up with everyone else, to build my business faster, and do all the things.

It felt like running on a treadmill where an invisible hand kept increasing the speed…

…and the pace was getting out of control.

Despite helping my clients with self-care, I had a lot of work to do myself.

Self-care is something many of the women in my life struggle with.

There’s pressure to do it all, be everything, say yes to things you don’t want to, and manage the household, the family, and often, a career on top of that.

No wonder you feel stressed, like time just evaporates.

Like the metaphor of the teacup, you can only fully give to those you love, to be present, and to feel a deep sense of joy…

…when you pour from a cup that’s got something in it.

But it seems easier said than done, especially when you don’t know who to turn to.

That’s one of the huge reasons why I put together the second annual Women’s Strength Summit (starting TOMORROW, May 15, 2017):

Support.

When I started on my health journey seven years ago, I remember how much BS I had to sort through on the internet…

…like conflicting recommendations, message boards full of bro science, and a lack of female role models to identify with.

So I gathered up over two dozen women who have coached and inspired me (including Allegra), who have a strong, caring message to share and brought them together in one place to support you.

Attending your favorite Women’s Strength Summit sessions is an act of self-care.

Give yourself the knowledge, motivation, and inspiration to build your own strength in six different areas:

  • Mindset
  • Movement
  • Nourishment
  • Women’s Health
  • Empowerment
  • Tribe

…and you’ll start re-filling your cup when you apply what these incredible female experts are teaching.

It’s like a buffet where you get to pick and choose what you want most.

And don’t worry…you aren’t gonna to get brainwashed into signing up for the latest fitness fad…

…or pressured into going on some weird diet.

I know you may be skeptical because other summits you’ve attended in the past have been, well, crappy. (That’s the nice way to say it.)

That’s not how I do things. You’ll see.

Get your free ticket now because it all kicks off tomorrow with 4 powerful talks on mindset.

Almost 9,000 women have joined already.

I’ll see you there,

xo Steph

P.S. If you want a video preview of each talk, click here.

And make sure you get your free ticket right now so you can hang out with me tonight, Sunday, at the live kick-off party (online). See you there.
