Monday Inspiration

This week Matt, my fiancé, and I launching the delivery arm of the mae deli and I honestly couldn’t be more terrified! It’s so scary developing new aspects of this business and putting them out their in the world, as you never know what the reaction is going to be and I’ve come to learn that no matter how awesome something is you will always be criticised by someone for something – that’s just the world that we live in. Matt and I have both been working on our deliveries, logistics, menus etc and worrying about every aspect of it all non-stop for the last few weeks and this quote has been really keeping me going…

It’s so true that not trying is the easiest way to fail. Making yourself vulnerable by putting yourself and your ideas out into the world is incredibly scary but when you get positive feedback it’s so satisfying and rewarding. If you have a great idea you’ll always regret not seeing if you could have taken it somewhere, so trust yourself and your instincts and try your absolute hardest with whatever it is that you want to do or share.
