I’m really excited to share a bit more information with you about our energy balls, which we’ve just launched! It’s been a huge project to get them ready for you, and we’ve been working so hard on all aspects of it since before Christmas last year. I can’t tell you how happy I was when I finally saw them on shelves a few weeks ago and I cannot wait to hear what you all think. It’s really a dream come true and it’s all thanks to your support that we’ve been able to achieve this, so thank you so much for being here on this journey.
I’ve had lots of questions about our stockists, what the balls are, their ingredients and everything else in between so I thought I would run through them all for you here…
So what are the energy balls?
- They’re our all natural energy balls, based on the most popular recipe on the blog and our best selling item in the deli. As you’ve all enjoyed them so much over the last few years, I felt it would be amazing to offer them to you when you’re out and about and need a good snack, as I know that can be really hard to find!
- We have three flavours, all of which are made of between four and six totally natural ingredients, with no additives, preservatives, stabilisers or anything else. The aim is to create a simple, natural, honest product for you.
- The cacao and almond flavour is just made of: almonds, almond butter, dates, coconut oil, cacao powder and a pinch of salt
- The hazelnut and raisin is just made of: hazelnuts, raisins, dates, cinnamon, cardamom and cacao (this one is my favourite!)
- The ginger and cashew is just made of: cashews, ginger, dates and oats
- They’re all 40g balls and we are very proud to say that they come in biodegradable, compostable packaging!
Where can I find the balls?
- As of this week (from Monday the 29th August) we’ll be stocked in 54 Waitrose stores across the UK, and over the next few days we’ll be going online on both waitrose.com and Ocado. Then from the 21st September we will be in 281 Waitrose stores. I’ll share the full list of the stores we’re in now on the bottom of this page!
- A few weeks ago we launched initially with Whole Foods in London, Cheltenham and Glasgow, as well as in our deli on Seymour Place, so you’ll find them there too
- We have some exciting news on other retailers, which we will announce as soon as we can
Will the products be available abroad?
- Currently our Energy Balls will only be available to buy in shops in the UK. We are looking at opportunities to sell them outside of the UK and we will keep you updated when that happens, we hope you won’t have to wait too long though!
- When our web shop opens in mid-October, we will be able to send cases Energy Balls (12 balls in a case) to anywhere in the UK and to countries within the European Union. I’ll let you know once the shop is up and running – we’re building it at the moment for you all.
